Featuring violinist Leah Peroutka, cellist Lauren Dunseath, and pianist Bridget O’Leary, Melete Trio (pronounced meh-LEH-tee) combines over 75 years of individual accomplishments in the chamber music sphere. Past chamber projects among the trio members have included world premieres, commissions, and performances at some of the country’s most prestigious venues. Melete’s repertoire spans beloved staples of the repertoire alongside contemporary and underrepresented works, showcasing their dedication to innovation and tradition. Together, the trio shares a commitment to education and community engagement, leading workshops, coaching musicians young and old, and performing at community-focused events.
